Manor Solomon could part ways with Tottenham Hotspur in the summer just a year after joining the club.

Ange Postecoglou had an incredible start to life in North London but things have not gone according to plan in the recent weeks. Tottenham have lost their last three league games and these defeats have highlighted some key areas that need reinforcements.

The Australian manager has brought in impressive signings since joining the club. While the majority of his signings have had a positive impact on their squad, a few haven’t worked out. As they plan to push for new signings in the summer, Spurs are also ready to part ways with a few players.

Graeme Bailey feels Manor Solomon who joined the club last summer as a free agent could be on his way out in the summer.

While speaking to The Spurs News, the transfer insider said: “It hasn’t quite worked out for him. He was always a risk but he was on a free transfer so that’s a decent profit on the profit and sustainability spreadsheet if Tottenham sell Manor Solomon.

“I think he could move on. I think Solomon is one of those where Tottenham aren’t actively pushing him out of the door, but I think he’s one that other teams will be looking at as an option. He doesn’t have a massive future at Tottenham, from what I’m hearing.”

Since joining the North London club, the Israeli forward has struggled with injuries and has only featured in six matches this term. With Spurs looking to reinforce their attack in the summer, Bailey believes they could look to part ways with the 24-year-old winger.

Sanctioning Solomon’s departure could bring in a decent profit for them. It will be a boost for their profit and sustainability spreadsheet as he had arrived for free last summer. While Tottenham are not actively looking to sell him, other clubs are expected to push for his services as he might not have a bright future under Postecoglou.
